Today on many church calendars Palm Sunday is celebrated. Palm Sunday is a celebration remembering Jesus’ entry into the city of Jerusalem. I am reading a book at the moment called “Contending for our all” by John Piper. It’s about three Christians, one from the fourth century, one from the seventeenth and one from the early twentieth century. Each had to contend (fight) for standing firm on God’s truths. As you would expect there has been so much said and written about the Christchurch attacks, so it’s good for us to be clear about certain things. Here are a few points (there’s so much more that could be said) — The attacks were utterly evil, morally evil.
