Here are 7 Things we can do to help children/grandchildren/nephews/nieces etc. understand what’s happening and deepen their trust in God — 1. Understand that children respond in different ways — they will have different: concerns, levels of anxiety, willingness to obey restrictions. 2. Know that silence is not the answer – Our God speaks, so should we. Tell children how great and in control God is, and our eternal hope in Jesus. One day we are sitting back on a plane and travelling the world, and almost without hesitation. Likewise, one day we are sipping on our coffees at our local hangout, and in great relaxation. Most nights of the week at dinner, we read the Bible as a family. At the moment we are working our way through Jesus’ parables. One night this week we heard the parable of “the Lost Sheep” or as I call it “the searching Shepherd” as the emphasis is on the shepherd searching for and rejoicing in finding the lost sheep. The question that one of the kids asked was, “what about people who live in countries where they don’t hear about Jesus?” Now, that is not a weird or bad question......
