25 TGS people went to this year’s North Qld Christian Convention at Mission Beach. It was excellent! The Bible teaching was very good, the music and singing was praise honouring to God and encouraging to us, and it was very good to catch up with people from ‘down south’. We were also blessed with a week’s holiday before the conference and those walks on the beach and sea breezes are just lovely! Many people fall into the trap of believing they know God, when in fact, they only know about God. For example, I can know the awesome life saving message of the gospel and not be saved. Twelve, right? Wrong. There are many more than 12 — There were the original 12 (Mark 3:17-19), later minus Judas Iscariot, plus Matthias who ‘replaced’ him (Acts 1, especially vv13, 20-26).
