After the two disasters, resulting in the deaths of 537 people, how many people will want to fly Malaysia Airlines now? I might be showing my age – well I am – but I’m guessing many of us will know the rock band Rolling Stones, and therefore one of their big hits in 1965: (I can’t get no) Satisfaction. It was actually recently listed as number two in the top 500 songs of all time. I know that when most people hear the word synod, they cringe. It carries with it lots of negative connotations. That is definitely how I felt … up until last week.
