It has been 15 weeks (over 3 months) since ISIS seized Mosul and began severally persecuting Christians. Since then there have been many cries for help, prayer rallies and humanitarian aid (which is slowly stopping due to the increasing level of danger). I remember praying about this every day and even all throughout the day, but as time passes, I am slowly forgetting about their suffering and I am not praying much at all. At home we are gearing up to start doing some renovations next month, and we expect that the end result will be good … but that the process will be a bit painful! We won’t have a proper kitchen to use for some weeks and I’m sure there will be a lot of dust, dirt, noise, and maybe mud. On Sunday I saw my favourite Not a Fan sermon intro video. What I liked about it was the response a parent gave for why his daughter was no longer a follower of Jesus (putting aside predestination).
