Suddenly

Who expected any of this? The year 2020 will certainly go down as a year to remember. In parts of Australia there have been severe droughts followed by devastating bushfires, floods and now the virus. Yes, what a year it has been. I was sent this the other day and thought Id share it with you, It, pretty much, sums things up:

Suddenly, we slept in one world and woke up in another. Disney has no more magic and Paris is no longer romantic.

† Suddenly, in New York everyone sleeps. And the Great Wall of China is no longer a fortress.

Suddenly, hugs and kisses become weapons. Holding hands and walking the parks become outlawed.

Suddenly, not visiting aging parents and grandparents becomes an act of love’.

† Suddenly, our bombs and machine guns, our tanks and artilleries begin to gather dust.

Suddenly, we realized that power is with God alone. And that money has no value when it cant even buy you toilet paper.

Suddenly, we have been put back in our place and weve been made aware how vulnerably humanwe truly are, when faced with a microbe so powerfully inhumane.

And we need to know that just as suddenly well, probably more so Jesus will return. Are you ready for that? Now is the time to prepare. And this Easter Sunday is a great reminder as to how to prepare for that sudden and once and for allconcluding event.

Trev , with a virtual hug and kiss
