Let me start by saying that I am really looking forward to COVID and the restrictions being over. I feel like as a church we are in a kind of engagement period, where ‘we are church’, we are committed to TGS and love others and do some things together. Over a million people around the world have died from COVID (and more than half of those deaths have been in just three countries: USA, India and Brazil.) These people had parents, siblings, spouses, children and friends. This is so sad. Last month I was at a Mayoral lunch with other Pastors and Bob Manning. While some knew that COVID would go this long, many others weren’t sure. Some of us may have thought lots of things would have been back to normal by now, but instead, COVID is still going.
